Interview tips
- They will give you a fake error (“the software will not open”). Walk through: confirm the exact message, ask which device, give one step, wait.
- On chat, short lines win. One idea per message. Do not send a paragraph while the customer is still typing.
- Phone phrase to learn: “I am going to walk you through this. After each step, tell me what you see.”
- Seasonal is not a failure. If they ask “What after the season?” say you want to convert if performance is there — only if that is true.

English vocabulary for this job
Say each line out loud before you apply. If you cannot, you are not ready for the interview.
| Word | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| seasonal | Hired for a busy period. The job has an end date unless they extend you. | “This is a seasonal role through tax season, with a path to stay if you perform.” |
| hardwired | Internet plugged in with a cable. Wi-Fi is not enough. | “A hardwired connection is required before day one of training.” |
| walk through | Guide someone one step at a time. | “I will walk you through the install. Click Next, then tell me what you see.” |
| multitask | Use more than one screen or channel at once (chat + notes + tools). | “You will multitask between the chat, the account, and the knowledge base.” |
| knowledge base | The official help articles you must follow, not your opinion. | “I will check the knowledge base before I give you the next step.” |

CV tips
- Write “Seasonal / contract — available for full-time conversion” only if you can actually start on their date.
- If you have helped family with software, that is not a job. Do not list it as employment.
- Do list: any chat support, any phone work, any time you followed a script in English.
- Skills: English B2 · chat · phone · Windows. Leave out Photoshop and “Microsoft Office” padding.
- The resume should show you can be online on time. Shifts and punctuality belong in the interview, not as a hobby.
